I am very religious and most every post will have a lot of talk about religion. That is how my healing has happened and will continue to happen. I am able to get up each morning and move forward because of the hope that Jesus Christ, my Savior, has given me.

My sweet Carsen!!!
OK, this may only be a mom's best moment, but that is ok. Carsen who will be 6 in about 2 weeks got the dinner tonight. It was one of those cereal nights, so dinner wasn't complicated. I was trying to help Adriana with her homework. It was a packet due by Friday. I don't want to wait until then, so we were trying to finish it tonight. (We did get close.) So he got tired of waiting. I told him to grab the cereal (the kids love these nights) and to get the bowls. He is not tall enough to reach the counter so he placed the bowls on the floor and poured the cereal in. Then he got the milk and poured it in. He then served it to us. It isn't a big thing, but a much appreciated thing on a day that has consisted of taxes and bill paying and all the fun of that stuff. He is such a cute boy. He has been out digging holes in the backyard. (We don't have grass just dirt.) He can't sit for very long watching tv or playing video games. I am very glad about that. He would much rather be out playing or doing something that his dad would do.

How great! I'm looking forward to a day when kids can help out . . . still very far off for us, but at least I can appreciate it happening for you!
