Camping fun

We went turkey hunting (it was more camping for us) in April and had a complete blast. The kids were so excited and had a fabulous time. We got up there on a Thurs. and it was cold. It even starting snowing a little. My first thought was I want to go home if it is going to be this cold. Friday and Saturday were so much better and warmer and it was a wonderful weekend. We went to Canyon Creek. We were able to fish and took the kids up to the fish hatchery. They loved it. They got to feed the fish. The kids thought it was really funny to see them jumping like crazy for the food. Each of the kids caught a couple of fish and I even caught a few. (I usually get skunked.) We went on lots of hikes. We found a horny toad and I picked it up and let each of the kids hold it. Adriana was the only one that just touched it. Emmy is our little fearless child. She held it with no hesitation. Branden on the other hand was a quite a few yards away. It is ok. We have a running deal. I take care of the lizards and frogs he takes care of the spiders. Living in Arizona the spiders can get really quite big. (In Safford it seems that there is a never ending supply of Wolf spiders.) The best part of camping was the fact that earlier in the month Branden's Uncle Jack gave us one of his old trailers. It needed some work, but wow it was so nice to not have to tent it. And it has a bathroom a real working bathroom. A girl's dream. Thank you Uncle Jack!!!!!!!

One of my favorites pictures
