Temple Excitement

Today was very exciting for a lot of us living in the Gila Valley. Our beautiful temple (the most beautiful if I say so myself) got its Angel Moroni. It is beautiful. I think it is the most beautiful Angel Moroni has ever looked. The ground breaking was back in Feb of this year. So the workers are moving forward at a rapid pace. It has been such a thrill to drive by and watch the progress that is being made. The kids look forward to it every time we head that direction. They have it lit at night and it just makes me happy. Of course from what I am told lots of people showed up to watch the event. I don't blame them, this really doesn't happen that often, although lately it seems to happen more and more, which is really fun. My mom and sister are a little jealous since the temple in Gilbert just barely got approval to even be built. I just keep reminding them that they have a temple within a 45min drive. We on the other hand drive 3 hrs. one way. But I won't complain because there are some that have to travel that long just to get to church and a lot longer to get to a temple.
