Out of the Mouths of Babes!
The other day we were driving as a family and we were passing the temple. I said "Look there's the temple, what a treat to get to drive by it." Carsen replied with all the wisdom of a 6 year old (which in some cases far surpasses an adults) "It isn't a treat to drive by the temple, it's a treat to go in it." I was sufficiently humbled. I wish I could say that Branden and I are just that good and doing that well in teaching our children, but I am sure that my children came that way. As stubborn as they are I don't think the veil is as thick for them. It truly takes a child to remind you what really is a "treat".

What a smart guy! Kids do say great things. We are excited you moght be up for the holidays. We aren't going anywhere so we'll be able to see you. Yay!!
What a smart guy! I can't believe he is 6. Where has the time gone? We will be around this holiday so we should be able to see you if you do come up this way! Yay! I miss you all and the fam misses you all too!
