He's 7

My baby boy is really not a baby anymore. He hasn't been one for awhile. He is 7 today and beyond excited. I can't believe that 7 years ago he entered our family. He was a big boy at 9lbs 9oz. I still remember that night all too well. While waiting for him to come Branden and I watched the start of a new season of American Idol. And when he was born the nurses and doctors all said "Oh, big baby." I knew that was not a good thing. Then they weighed him and he was a big boy. I think the dark hair on his head weighed at least a pound or more. Unlike his older sister his black hair never fell out it just grew out blond. When he was about 9 months old a teenage girl asked me if I had dyed his hair. I think to this day that is the strangest question I have ever had. His whole life most common question I get about him is "does he ever not smile?" And I can say yes, but he really does smile a lot. He is definitely his father's son. He love to hunt and fish. He loves to go and do dog training with his dad. He loves sports and all kind, but especially soccer, football and little league. He has always been my little snuggle bug. He talks about when he will get to go on a mission and gets upset when we talk about the Gila Valley Temple Dedication, because he won't be able to go. WE are so proud of him and feel so blessed to have him in our eternal family. WE LOVE YOU CARSEN GARY BROWN!!!!!!
