Temple Excitement

So in a little over a month the open house for the Gila Valley Temple will begin. The excitement is so thick you could really cute it with a knife. So many wonderful things will be happening over the next 3 months. From the outside it is absolutely gorgeous. I can only imagine that the inside is even more beautiful. I am truly proud to get to be a part of all this. My dad's family came up from the colonies in Mexico years ago and lived in Duncan, AZ/Virden, NM. (Duncan and Virden are about 45 minutes east of Safford.) My grandma and grandpa (and many other family members are buried in the Virden, NM cemetery. My dad always loved this area and felt a special bond for this area. I feel as if I'm here for my grandparents and my dad. I know they will be there. I feel truly honored to get to sing in the dedicatory choir for the temple. It is such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We have had one official practice and WOW!!!! The talent in that room was overwhelming. I felt a little out of place. But am so excited. What a blessing the temple is. I can't wait for everything. YEAH!!!!!
