Adriana had a big birthday this year and I didn't even post anything before and am over a month late for posting her birthday stuff now. Let's just say life has been busy, but I should never be so busy as to forget to acknowledge something so important. My baby girl (not really, she is my oldest, but will always be my baby) turned 10 this year. Yikes. It sounds cliche to say that I remember when she was born like it was yesterday, but I do. She had a great birthday and I had a nostalgic one. I love how much of a help she is with her little brother and sister, but I look back at the baby pictures and have to say I miss that fat, big baby. And she was fat. She was born fat and just kept getting fatter as she grew. But at about 3 years old the fat started to disappear and now she is just perfect (she was perfectly perfect as a fat baby, too). I am really quite proud of who she is and of her potential in life. I realize that my time is getting shorter and shorter with her. In another 8 years she will be able to go out on her own. I keep hoping time will slow down, but it keeps just getting faster. She is a good friend to all. I love my girl!!!!!
