Since I have done so well in keeping up my blog (sigh) I think I will just do a quick first 3 quarters of 2010 year in review and then I will cover the last quarter of 2010 since that is where I dropped the ball. This year was wonderful in so many ways and trying in others. But life would be boring if that weren’t the case. So Carsen turned 7 this year, Emmy turned 4 and Adriana turned 10 (in that order). In May we got a temple in the Gila Valley and I was able to sing in the Dedication Choir. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. And being able to work with such incredible talented people was amazing. The kids got to go to San Diego with my mom and sister for a week. They had a blast. The best part for them was the beach, not Sea World or the Zoo or all the other places they visited, just the beach. They really did like the other places; they just really like the beach. I’m not sure how my mom said it was around 65ish degrees. Too cold for me. We were then able to spend a lot of time in Utah with family. We hiked Mt. Timponogas. The cave was beautiful, but I think I’m good and won’t need to do that again. The hike is paved the whole way, but that did not make it easy. It is a steep climb all the way. The view was gorgeous, but my legs have not been the same since. After that school started with a bang or break. Carsen broke his arm within an hour after getting out of school. He was a real trooper and even insisted on going to school the next day. I wanted him to stay home so I could baby him. Oh well. We were very blessed that his arm healed so well. I began working in Oct. and that is when everything fell apart. I have determined that I am not so good with the working fulltime and still being a housewife/mom fulltime. My hats off to those women who can do it and keep their house together. Of course we had Halloween in there and my kids looked great. My mom and sister got Emmy’s costume, which made my life a little easier and Branden made the other two. Yes, Branden made them. Really sad when the husband is the one who sews and can the crafts. Most outdoorsy men cannot claim that, but that is what happens when his mom only had boys and loves to craft. Sewing, well for him it is just another blueprint to build. Carsen was Draco Malfoy and Adriana was Hermione Granger.

November brought Thanksgiving which is always a good time. We went down to Gilbert to be with my mom and sister. Branden and I saw Harry Potter and the kids went and saw Tangled with my mom and sister. I then returned to work the following day. December brought Christmas and more crazy times. Christmas was great. My mom and sister came up to us, since I refuse to spend Christmas from home. Maybe when the kids are older I will consider traveling again, but not while they are little. It's just way too much work. I love being with family for the holidays, but I will travel on the afternoon of the 25th or the 26th. The kids then went home with my mom and sister and had a blast of course. They love being spoiled and they are there. So that is 2010 in a nutshell. We have been incredible blessed this past year to be able to continue to have an income and to have a roof over our house. We have wonderful family whom we love and are grateful for and wish all of our friends and family a wonderful prosperous new year. We are every so grateful for belief in our Heavenly Father and in His Son and our elder brother and Savior, Jesus Christ. We have been so blessed with that knowledge and that of the knowledge of their unconditional love for us. I love the Christmas season where we get to stop and remember the most precious of births in the most humble of places. Without that birth there could have been no atonement or crucifixion and then no resurrection. Every event was of the utmost importance.

Love being "up-to-dated" on your family. Branden did GREAT job with the costumes! What a fella!
