I am very religious and most every post will have a lot of talk about religion. That is how my healing has happened and will continue to happen. I am able to get up each morning and move forward because of the hope that Jesus Christ, my Savior, has given me.

Our new life
Sat. was the first day of clearing overgrown land. The land has a corral and a shed and tons of trees oh and did I mention crazy amounts of tumbleweed and dead plants. I have done yard work before, but nothing like this. We may of gotten a quarter of an acre done. We did clear enough to have a spot for our dumb chickens that are not producing eggs. Stupid chickens. But as Branden was putting the coop in it's place he kept running into one of the million trees (which may or may not be dead). So he got the chainsaw out and started getting rid of the massive amounts of overgrowth. Mind you it was after dark and the only light was from our 4-wheeler and the flood lights. (Side note Emmy just said, "Mom, look what I can do." And proceeds to like her shoulder. I'm not sure what to say to that.) Well the chainsaw ran out of gas and we haven't had a chance to fill the gas cans so he brings out his sawzaw. It did the trick very well. I say what ever works. I just started pulling branches down. The are many dead branches cause heaven knows I am not that strong, but apparently in need of going on a diet. The one thing I don't think I will ever get tired of is looking out our big windows and seeing quail running around and eating. I am just waiting for our brittnay spaniel to go through the windows. He is constantly on point. Poor thing. I thing I can count 7 right now. I love it. I'll let you know when it turns into snakes. There will be no loving it just a lot of screaming and phone calls to my Branden.
