Easter

Easter this year fell on our anniversary. Which worked out great. The kids had Fri. and Mon. off so my mom and sister took them for the weekend. The Easter Bunny still found them and they loved the weekend. So did Branden and I. Like every other year our anniversary was not a huge deal. We went to dinner and then after working outside we pretty much sat around and enjoyed the quiet. Really love it. I don't have any pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits, but my mom and sister do, so someday I will see them. But I'm told that they were few smiles considering they had to get back in the dresses and suit. Should I be ok with the fact that I didn't have to deal with the attitude. I guess once again this year I'm out of the running for Mother-the-Year award. Maybe next year I'll be that mom. Yeah, to much work. I think I'll just stick to being the really mean mom who doesn't get it. Yeah for me.
