Who knew

Things that you never expect to happen in church--the fire alarm going off. Yes it actually happens and now we have an evacuation procedure. So let me set the stage. It was about 10 mins before church was to end. I was walking the halls looking for rolls and taking down door signs. I was also making sure our 2 Sunbeam classes were during alright. Then it happened. You first thought is which child am I going to strangle. But I quickly realized that all the Sunbeans and Nursery kids were all in their classes. The kids were not to blame. What was was a fuse that had blown (not bad, but enough for the fire alarm to go off). So I off went to get the junior primary out. It got a little hectic, but overall it went well. We didn't lose any children and to tell you the truth we didn't have any huge melt downs. Church was released and the church was cleared out. They won't let anyone in there until they have fixed the problem. So scouts is cancelled for this week. I am good with that.
