Sweet Emmy

We have been trying to potty train Emmy for about a month. I really don't know where she gets her stubbornness from. Surely not me. She has the concept down very well, just doesn't find it convenient. Frankly I don't blame her. Who would want to stop playing with play-dough to go potty? I do think she is finally getting it. We have also been dealing with Eczema with her. She is truly a trooper. We have been trying find what will work for her. We may have found it, but not without it being painful for her. Some friends of ours who also have a child with it said they tried everything, but found one lotion that seems to work. We are trying it. We have done it 3 times and it seems to be working, but it is very painful due to the medicine in it. She still stands there and lets me put it on her. What an example of faith to me. I have explained to her that this could help her skin and so she lets me apply it knowing it will hurt. I wish I could say that I would be that willing. She has her 3-year-old moments, but she is just a great daughter and I wouldn't trade her in for all he money in the world. Her personality is one-in-a-million. Her expression are hysterical and she is always trying to make you dance. One of my favorite moments was when the Elders were over for dinner and she decided to strip and dance (One of her favorite pass times). Luckily she is beginning to have a desire to keep clothes on. She keeps us laughing and keeps me on my toes.
