I have always loved the 4th of July, but in East Valley of AZ you don't really get to participate a whole lot. Unless you want to enjoy the heat. Some of the years we have been in UT and been in Prove and SLC and it has been a lot of fun. This year we stayed in Safford and attended the parade. It only lasted about 30 mins. It is not too hot yet and so it was great. Emmy still doesn't like loud noises, so the fire engines from the 3 towns around here was not all that fun. Daddy would cover her ears and she would wave. The big group of motorcycles were not all that fun for her either, but she has gotten a lot better. She doesn't bury her face in you anymore. I hope someday she will be able to just be fine with it.
I would like to thank all those who have served or are serving our country so my children can enjoy the freedom all year round. There is no better country on this earth. We as a nation need to make sure and keep it free so that our posterity can enjoy days like this. This is truly a blessed nation and we should never forget that.
THANK YOU TO OUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN FOR ALL YOUR SCARIFIES ON OUR BEHALF!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you had a good 4th! Living where we do, we have lots of interaction with military families & I've learned a whole new respect for what they sacrifice for us.
What a blessing they are for our country!
Hey, I finally found your blog again. I need to link it.
